Finnish ai cloud Verda raises $189 million at a $1 billion-plus valuation

Verda, an ai cloud company based in Finland, has raised $189 million in a round led by Emergence Capital, valuing it at more than $1 billion.

It's another sign that investors still want a piece of the infrastructure that ai runs on, including outside the US.
