Neurath raises $1.52 million to measure how sure a model really is

Buried in an SEC filing: a small bet on telling when a model sounds confident and when it should be.

Neurath, a New York startup founded in 2026 by Dan Morozoff, has raised $1.52 million of a $4 million offering from two investors, according to an SEC filing reported by AlleyWatch.

The company calls itself an ai reliability platform. It quantifies model uncertainty in real time, so teams in critical industries can keep control of autonomous systems.

Only one outlet has reported it so far.

Why it matters

Models always sound sure. The useful question is whether they should be. As agents act further beyond what their users intended, tooling that flags when a model is working outside its confidence is the quiet, infrastructure side of the same problem the rogue-agent headlines describe.
